My Photostory

Well, here it is.  I decided to go with something that I could use with my students.  We're doing student-led parent teacher conferences with our fifth graders for library, art, music and PE so this project will be a great addition to what they can show their parents.  It goes over the time about a a minute and thirty-six seconds but I didn't want to have to take out anything so I just went with it.

  1. Lori, you have a wonderful gift of storytelling! I don't know which book to start with... what would you suggest?

  2. Thank you Mrs. A. I tried to keep the tone eerie. I started with "The Old Willis Place" when it was the Mark Twain Award Nominee list a few years ago. I get so many requests for scarey stories! The best part about Mary Downing Hahn is that her stories are creepy but not too scarey. Perfect for elementary kids.

  3. I work with remedial readers, so having different resources to go to will really help with getting them into a book that 'interests' them. I have grown up loving mysteries and scary stories, so I look forward to reading some of Hahn's work so I can share with the students what I like about them.

  4. Your narration was wonderful, though you did go a bit long. I still wish you would have given us more of your thoughts. What was your favorite story, and why? What is it about her writing that you enjoy? Sorry, I've already lectured you about this once, lol. Nice job.
